ALGARVE

A piece of wild land

In this southern region of Portugal, there is a traditional way of life.

Authentic cities, white sandy beaches, gastronomy between land and sea, golden cliffs, perfect surf spots, many hiking trails, communities of fishermen and protected nature reserve "Ria Formosa", paradise for the wildlife of the salt meadows.

Nature sports such as hiking, climbing, surfing, paragliding, kayaking, cycling, sailing and birdwatching are all easily practised here.

The villages are often steeped in history and full of tranquillity, while the coastal towns offer a mosaic of activities all year round : local markets, crafts, concerts, exhibitions, museums, festivals, creative tourism, cultural events and open-air cinema. They will seduce you with their narrow streets, gentle way of life, colourful facades and smells of cuisine that invite you to farniente and escape.
